Wedding anniversary gift ideas

It's our wedding anniversary soon and I thought I'd better get my thinking cap on for a good present for Nicky so I wondered what the 4th year present was.

Fruit/Flowers seems a good idea, but I don't think an orange would get me many brownie points.

Notice that the modern version is "Appliance". Now is that a good idea?
Let me see... Here's the new food mixer you always wanted... very romantic!

Or is there a different appliance....

Hmmm, I need to think on this.

Why doesn't it say Fruit/Flowers/Diamonds or Appliance/Diamonds, you can tell a man thought these things up :-)

or in Jim's case it should say Fruit (what's that?)/Flowers/Thunderbirds toys/games that kill monsters/a supersonic computer

That's a good point. Why are the gifts centered toward the woman?

I want a present too!

Thunderbird toy would be very romantic in my mind, but only a man could see the romantic link.

I have just noticed 6 years (which is what me and Pete have managed to get to) is "candy" - now that is what I call a good present!!!!! not sure of the modern one "woodenware" though, I think I prefer candy shrimps by the truck load rather than a new picnic table!!!!

Get her a toaster and 4 cans of lager, that'll do.

Very funny Ken.....

My life expectancy would be as long as it takes to beat me to death with a heavy silver totasty implement on the end on an electric lead... 20 seconds

Feel free to run this past Kim though... Good luck mate. Lol

how about a 'lemon' cd, some 'pineapple' dancewear, a new mobile phone (on orange of course)and a 'date' at 'strawberry moons' ?

I like it Maz

Where's Strawberry Moons?

Ha ha. Like the response Maz

Strawberry Moons is in Maidstone. Better to go on a Friday as Saturday gets far too packed. Me and my friend Paul had a jive in there once, don't know what everyone thought but it was fun. lol

The ones I've been to are Maidstone and London (nr Picadilly) But a better idea would be a weekend in New York (The Big Apple)!

hey, we're going to be in New York for our anniversary anyway!! we're flying out with friends to see Steve Neeren (the West Coast Swing teacher) and enjoy a lovely and well earned holiday :-) I'll find out where it is.
