What the....

Why are these 2 still in the Strictly Dance Fever competition?

I'm begining to think their going to win it with the amount of canvasing for votes that's going on.

Ok, so they have improved more than any other couple, but I hope they don't think they can perform on stage in the west end.

OMG, I'm starting to sound like Arlene.... ACK Nooooooooo!

Who knows why they are still in, I have managed to watch a couple of recorded programmes sent over by friends and although they are both good dancers, they are not really West End potential are they!!!! I am waiting for my next installment to be sent over to fill me in on the weeks I have missed - who went out this Sat?

You wont believe this but it is actually too hot today to sit outside!!! It is about 37 degrees and even the pool is like a bath today - we are all sitting inside under fans cooling off - still I am not complaining!!!!

Off out tonight to watch The Da Vinci Code with friends - not sure what it will be like as reviews have been terrible but I loved the book so fingers crossed!!

Have a good week dancing - missing you all and missing the dancing even more, take care and chat soon, love Shelagh xx

Hi Shelagh,

It's really hot here too. I was outside for about 10 minutes and nearly got sun stroke. It's so hot the paint on the car is starting to bubble.... Oh no, that's not the paint bubbling, it's rain drops.

IT HASN'T STOPPED RAINING HERE!

Da Vinci Code is good, but I think it doesn't quite have the suspense of the book. Maybe c'os we know what's coming...

Missing you Jim x

This week Mark and Jennifer left the competition.

After the Line Dance routine, the vote was closed and Graham announced the couples going through to week seven of the competition.

This left Mark & Jennifer and Ben & Stephannie standing as the couples with the lowest scores this week.

All the judges thought that despite their efforts Mark and Jennifer were not as good as the other couples left in the competition, with Stacey Haynes saying, "I'm sorry, you're not ready to join a professional dance company, you're just not ready!"

While the pair were gutted to have to pack their bags and gracefully bow out of the competition, Mark thanked everyone for watching and said, "This has been the best thing that's happened in my life... Let's hope for a future career in dance."

I agree, they are not West End potential. I was really surprised that they got voted in again.

Glad the weather is nice and hot for you Shelagh. Its terrible here, constantly raining :-( Think it is set to stay for the bank holiday as well

They've gone Jim!

I think the final next week will be pretty awesome, I like the final three and last week's routines were really good. I think Ben is inspirational for us fellas...would like to be able to dance as good as him

Definately agree with you all about JP and Stacey - they should have gone out a few weeks back when Paul and Pam were still in !!!

They had their best shot at it and they did well but at least the best three couples are left in the competition !!

I am glad that Ben and Stephanie are still in with all the votiing I have done over the last few weeks !

I am not sure who will win - it should be a good grand final - I can't wait !!

Who do you think will win ?

Darrien and Holly have won. It was a good final but was hard to know who was going to win as Darren and Lana and Ben and Stephanie were really good as well. I say well done to all 3 couples for getting that far. It was a tough competition and they all put a lot of hard work into it.
