as an ex morris dancer ( had to give it up because i fell of the bonnet...boom boom) I have to say well done that side, presumably men, though there are many lady morris dancers around. Broadstairs has been buzzing with folk dancers and singers this last week (Broadstairs Folk Week) and the atmosphere is great,a large part of the fun is the busking by visiting Morris sides. It really is great to see all types of dancing and world music concentrated in a week long festival. I even danced some jive at the Pavilion one afternoon this week. Just off to the Neptunes Hall to join in some folk singing, (straps tankard to belt, finds tatter jacket, finger in right ear)
