Blues Workshop

I'd just like to comment on how impressed I was by the level of dancing this Sunday with the Blues Workshop that Nicky and I taught.

You were all very good and really got into the mood and style of the dance.

Tip: As we mentioned you don't need to dance Blues style to only slow music as it fits in very well with normal pace music too.

Well done all,

Jim x

Hi,
I think you have summed up the day very well, the content of the workshop was useful for experienced dancers, but not beyond those just breaking into intermediate level. Some basic understanding of Blues style means you don't have to vacate the dancefloor every time a slow paced record is played; particularly important if it is the last dance of the evening.
The freestyle after had a good range of tempos with an injection of slow melodies to practice the moves learned and to soothe away the aches of a busy weekend dance schedule, or general domestic life.
What will the next topic be? Whatever, I'll probably be there.

regards
