Jim & Nicky on TV next week!!
Stop the press!! Jim & Nicky plus a few other modern jivers will be dancing on ITV1's programme The Mint on Wednesday 18th October at Midnight til 1.15am on Thursday, so it's a late one (hey that's what Sky Plus or video recorders were invented for :-)
We have no idea what the format is going to be or whether we'll look really cool or......not so cool! but either way it's a great way of getting the Dance Riviera name out there if we can.
Please watch and tell your friends too!

Its just before 1am and I am watching Nicky and Jim strutting their musicality stuff on "The Mint" on ITV1! Go Dance Riviera go!! Just wondering when DR are going to run a "Dance Riviera Dance Marathon" (you have seen it mentioned here first!!)
Just one thing before I head off to Zzzz-land ... Jim - have you recovered from your individual time in front of the camera holding hands with the host of the show??

Got to say it was a great night and they really looked after us.
I even had my nose powdered...
We met all the crew and although I've put some pics up on the website there was a professional photographer that will send us some more.
The bad news is we didn't tape the show.....

I managed to stay up till 1am to watch it. You were both great. I have recorded it on DVD so will watch the rest of it over the weekend. You are welcome to borrow it if you like?

I recorded it at the back end of X Factor (yes I know sad) and Prime Suspect (well I was working Sunday night) and would have brought it along but Shelley pipped me to the post with her DVD!
Sniff - but will I still get any dances tonight Jim?
Nicky - agree with Shelley - lovely top - will look out for that!

Got home on Wednesday night after a night at Dance Riviera at Broadstairs Pavilion. Had a snack. Now 12 -30 am and just have a look at the Mint before heading off to bed. 1-30 ish and still watching, and �3 worse off- very addictive phone-in quiz shows - but Nicky and Jim very very alluring dance moves and good to see Nigel as well.

Sorry Christine, DVD is a lot better though :-) I like your idea for the dance marathon by the way. Maybe we should do a sponsored one to raise money for Children in Need??

Shelley - loved the idea about raising money for Children in Need! Lots of teddy ears around and hey it could get Dance Riviera on the TV again - something to think about! I am sure we could get it done!!! Will get a recordable DVD one day (sniff!)
I think we should go for it. Sponsor forms can be downloaded off the BBC Children in Need site. Do you reckon we could get Jim to dress up as Pudsey bear? lol :-)
