Strictly Come Dancing - The Seventh Show Result

Peter and Erin were knocked out of the competition this week.
Seven couples danced for their Strictly lives this week, dancing a dance new to them, but not new to the viewers this series. But who would be dancing through to week eight?
The tension high, Bruce and Tess announced - in no particular order - the couples who would definitely be back next week: Matt and Lilia, Carol and Matthew, Louisa and Vincent, Claire and Brendan, and Mark and Karen, leaving Emma and Darren and Peter and Erin in the bottom two.

IT may have been former Man United goalie Peter Schmeichel's birthday - but it didn't stop him getting kicked off Strictly Come Dancing last night.

Millions of viewers of the BBC show sent the not-so-great Dane home for an early bath on the day he turned 43.

Gutted Peter told the show's co-host Bruce Forsyth: "I've no luck on my birthdays. I once missed World Cup qualification on my birthday. I'm used to it."

Peter and his dance partner Erin Boag finished bottom of the joint judges' and viewers' poll behind former Spice Girl Emma Bunton, who was watched by ex-bandmate Mel C.

Peter, who faced relegation for the second week in a row, was rapped by head judge Len Goodman for missing steps on his fox trot. He blasted: "If you hadn't done that you'd be right up there."

The ex-Old Trafford ace even tried to win over panelist Craig Revell-Horward by telling him he had bought his ballroom dancing book as a birthday present. He said: "I've been reading it all morning."

But he finished a point behind ex-England cricketer Mark Ramprakash, 37, in the judges' poll.
