Stiletto Heel announcement
Ladies - we have a venue announcement for you. Unfortunately last night at Swanley, the floor was damaged at the back of the hall by a stiletto heel, they've asked me to ask you that from now on ladies only wear dancing trainers or ordinary heeled shoes as the stilettos/metal aren't dance-floor friendly.
This really applies to all our venues. Thanks for your cooperation.

Having had my feet speared eight times on one night I totally agree with Anonymous!

Nicky, I noticed several ladies at Swanley yesterday evening who were still wearing stiletto heels.
How are you going to publicise the stiletto ban since these ladies clearly did not know anything about it?
Unfortunately, not everyone reads the Blog, the newsletter, the flyers or listens to the announcements from the stage.
This sort of thing takes time, but we hope that the situation is improving.
