Topic for the week...
Each week we thought it might be a good idea to have some more
enthusiastic 'bloggers' join in with some short, snappy comments on a particular topic.
To start off - can we have anyone's comments on their 'funniest dance experience ever!'
Just a bit of fun and please don't mention any names without the person's permission.
Ok - get writing anything short and sweet....This topic will run out on Saturday 7th April.

There are so many instances after nearly 9 years of dancing! I suppose I remember one guy who literally remembered all the names of the moves and talked me through each one, telling me how to follow the moves. I told him that I was fine to follow without him telling me everything, but he continued to do so. He said to me "so many women don't know how to follow, so I have to tell them". He then said he hadn't seen me before and complimented me on my style, adding that I could do with a few tips off him :-)
He then saw me on stage for teaching the intermediate class with Jim........I could see him cringing in the line-up!

One of the funniest times I remember was when my twin sister Claire was over from South Africa and came dancing with me one Thurs night. Terry (taxi driver) didnt realise there were 2 of us and asked her for a dance - I came back from the bar to find them on the dance floor with her looking very awkward and Terry telling her to stop playing games and start dancing properly!!!! Anyway imagine his surprise when he led her off the dance floor and there I was sitting laughing and watching! His face was a picture bless! I still grin when I think of that night ........ love Shelagh xxxxx
