Smooth Lounge at our new venue - what a great night!
What a fantastic night everyone had at the Smooth Lounge on Friday night. The new venue in Rochester is stunning and has one of the best dance floors I have ever danced on! Jim and Nicky started the night off with a wonderful lesson and DJ John Miller from Jag Jive kept the floor filled all night.
Great to see so many wonderful dancers there and we had several people who were new to dancing, but true to form the friendliness of Dance Riviera made for an enjoyable night for everyone.

Fantastic venue, there's not many like this in use for Jiving.
The music was just right and as usual the staff and dancers are all so friendly.
Fantastic evening, great music, great venue, wonderful dances.
I can't wait for the next Smooth lounge.

I forgot to mention the reaction of the crowd when the lights when out for the freestyle to begin ... "WOW" was the general consensus when they felt the smooth floor for themselves and saw the effect of the ceiling lighting!
If you werent lucky enough to experience this at the first smooth lounge there - make sure you are there for the next one!

Fantastic set by John Miller, and Jim & Nicky taught a great lesson. It's not often you get a mixture of great dancers and brilliant music in one night! thanks, I shall be coming next month and bringing some friends
